What is the Margaritaville Island Reserve Experience?
Fins up! The warm greeting you’ll receive when you arrive at any of the Margaritaville Island Reserve Resorts. There are currently three Margaritaville Island Reserve resorts: Cap Cana, Riviera Cancun, and the brand new one in Riviera Maya that just opened today. All are within 30 minutes of Punta Cana and Cancun airports respectively.
All the resorts are all inclusive, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Cap Cana is divided into adults only and family sections, Riviera Cancun is family friendly, and the new Riviera Maya is adults only. As soon as you arrive you can feel the laid back luxury vibes with touches of Jimmy Buffett and Margaritaville. There are touches like margarita glass chandeliers, Caribbean colors, lyrics posted around the property, and so much more. You can even rent a Margaritaville blender for cocktails in your room!
Bars and restaurants are inspired by the music of Buffett. Some of them include: Frank and Lola’s, 5’oclock Somewhere Bar, Changes in Latitudes Bar, and more. Plus originals like Rita’s Taco House in Riviera Cancun. Cap Cana and Riviera Maya are home to their own Landshark breweries where you can even do tours and tastings. The resorts are part of Karisma brands which prides itself on its ‘gourmet inclusive experience’, so you know the food is going to be good. There are local flavors of Mexico and the Dominican woven into the menus of the restaurants.
You can even take part in one of the special dining experiences like the floating taco boat or breakfast on the beach.
There is no shortage of things to do. The entertainment staff will have you playing volleyball or giant Jenga during the day and music trivia or bingo at night. Plus, there is always entertainment by the pools and bars come nighttime. There are also special events throughout the week like cheeseburger parties and tiki beach parties. Each resort also has its own St. Somewhere Spa if you’re looking for some relaxation and pampering.
One of the best parts of these resorts is how warm and welcoming the staff are. From check in to check out, the service is top notch. You will feel like family by the time you leave.
Island Reserve Resorts aren’t just for Parrotheads. If you’re looking for barefoot luxury with top quality food and service, you’re going to want to visit one of these resorts!
